About Ankita
I have been in my field for about 15 years. My current title is Device Platform Technical Program Manager where I own the whole VR device line end to end from hardware to software to computer vision algorithms and go-to-market. My master's was in electrical engineering with specialization in remote sensing. I worked on NASA projects in earth sciences remote sensing and computer vision, then moved to semiconductors working on DRAM and solid-state drives at SanDisk, shipping some of the first SSDs for Apple MacBook Pros and Airs as well as enterprise SSDs. This led me to Meta where I worked on Quest products, shipping Quest 2, Quest Pro, and Quest 3 as the most successful VR device.
