About Ankita
I have been working for more than 5 years in the IT industry, primarily in the data field as both a data analyst and data engineer. I previously worked at Infosys and Worldwide Technology, and I am currently at Capgemini America. I came to the US for my master's after completing my bachelor's in electronics in India, which allowed me to explore tools like SQL and visualizations. I recently earned a certification in GitHub Copilot AI to stay current with trends like AI.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My success comes from curiosity that pushes me to achieve more, hard work, and the desire to return to my parents what they have done for me. I want to grow in both money and knowledge perspectives.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be ready to learn because everything keeps changing in IT. Stay curious, do not be lazy or stay in your comfort zone. Be prepared to learn new technologies like AI to stay relevant in the market.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Empathy and understanding are very important to me, as is going to the root cause of issues rather than blaming or judging. Transparency and honesty with friends, colleagues, and everyone are also essential.
