About Ann
Ann Menacher is a seasoned oilfield professional with extensive experience in pipeline operations, nondestructive testing, ultrasonic testing, management, and oilfield supply sales. She began her career in 2012 as a Laborer with Troy Pipeline and Construction, where she developed valuable hands-on knowledge of pipeline work and the demanding nature of the oil and gas industry. In 2017, she joined Safety Flow NDT, where she progressed into her current role as a Level III NDT/UT Technician and Manager. Throughout her career, Ann has built a strong combination of field experience, technical expertise, leadership, and business knowledge.
Ann’s professional development has been supported by both practical experience and formal education. She earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Illinois Eastern Community Colleges–Lincoln Trail College and obtained her ASNT NDT Level III Certification in Ultrasonic Testing in 2018. Her work has involved specialized testing and certification of flowback, fracking, and cementing equipment, giving her a strong understanding of inspection standards and oilfield operations. Her background in outside sales and oilfield supplies further demonstrates her ability to apply her technical knowledge in a business environment while working effectively with customers and industry professionals.
As a woman who has established herself in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Ann’s career reflects perseverance, resilience, and a strong commitment to professional growth. Her experience as a single mother motivated her to pursue challenging opportunities and build a career that would provide stability for her family. She encourages young women entering similar industries to remain proactive, maintain a strong work ethic, and consistently demonstrate their abilities, even when faced with difficult circumstances or barriers. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ann supports her local community through sponsorships and donations to softball teams, rodeo events, and other local organizations.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my kids. Becoming a mother and knowing I would be a single parent motivated me to work hard, take on challenging opportunities, and build the income needed to provide a secure future for my family.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to keep moving forward, even when the day is difficult. Wake up tomorrow, push yourself a little harder, and remember that you belong and deserve a place at the table just as much as anyone else.
