Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying true to my creative passion and my sense of purpose. I commit fully to my goals, consistently putting in the effort required to bring my vision to life. By aligning my heart and mind with what I believe is my true purpose, I stay motivated and focused. I approach my work with accountability, dedication, and consistent action, believing that following your passion and taking responsibility for your journey are the keys to achieving meaningful success.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to follow your passion, take full responsibility for your actions, and commit to doing the work consistently. Success comes from aligning your efforts with what truly motivates you and staying accountable every step of the way.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to take full ownership of your journey and not let anyone else write your story. So often, women defer their power to social norms, family, or peers, rather than looking within to discover their own voice and purpose. Stay true to yourself, trust in your own abilities, and recognize that everything you need is already within you. You have the power to shape your reality—don’t give that power away to societal expectations or external pressures.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges facing authors today is the overwhelming flood of low-quality AI-generated material. Writers who spend a year or more crafting high-quality books are finding it increasingly difficult to gain visibility amidst this glut. This issue is reaching a critical point in the publishing industry. There is a growing need for transparency, including legal requirements to disclose if content is AI-generated. Beyond that, AI is raising serious copyright concerns, as it often trains on copyrighted material without permission, effectively reproducing it for others. As authors and creators, we are facing a significant legal and ethical battle to protect our work, and this challenge is only intensifying.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are alignment, accountability, and dedication. I believe in keeping my heart and mind aligned with my true purpose, following my passion, and taking full responsibility for my actions. Staying true to my creative vision, I consistently give my best effort and do whatever it takes to achieve my goals, knowing that meaningful success comes from commitment and purposeful action.
