Ann Parnes

I am a matchmaker, coach, and former attorney with a unique career path that blends law, human connection, and relationship building. I am the Co-Founder of After Hello Matchmaking, a role I have held since May 2023, and the Founder and Matchmaker at Match Made in Nola, which I established in November 2017. In these roles, I bring my deep understanding of people, communication, and compatibility to help individuals find meaningful, lasting relationships through personalized matchmaking and coaching.

Before transitioning to matchmaking, I practiced law for over a decade. I served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office for nearly eight years, where I prosecuted criminal cases and advocated for justice on behalf of victims and the community. Prior to that, I served as a Trial Attorney at the USDA for over five years in the Washington DC-Baltimore area, where I represented the agency in legal proceedings and developed my skills in litigation and advocacy.

I also co-founded Pivotal Perspectives Coaching, where I served as a Certified Coach for nearly five years, helping individuals and couples navigate personal and professional transitions and build stronger relationships.

I hold a Doctor of Law from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Tulane University.

Across my career in law, coaching, and matchmaking, my work has been driven by a deep commitment to helping people navigate life's most important decisions and build meaningful connections. Whether I am prosecuting a case, coaching a client, or matching two people who are meant to find each other, I bring empathy, integrity, and a belief in the power of human connection to transform lives.
