About Ann
Ann Pells is a Wealth Strategist and Breakthrough Coach who has spent the last 8 years helping families in the financial industry achieve greater freedom through real estate investments and systematic wealth strategies. After her husband was laid off, she transitioned from being a housewife to developing processes that enable clients to pay off their homes in 10 years and retire with at least $10,000 a month in passive income. A college graduate with honors, she is certified as a Breakthrough Coach and Wealth Strategist and belongs to Belief Breakthrough and Wealth Strategists. Ann credits her success to a mindset shift from saying I can't to asking how can I, which helped her connect with mentors like Tony Robbins and focus on possibilities in real estate, health, and communication. She values integrity, communication, and vulnerability, and advises finding the who not the how when pursuing goals.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Ann
01What do you attribute your success to?
My success comes from shifting my mindset from saying 'I can't' to asking 'how can I?' This change helped me find the right people and resources. Instead of focusing on limitations, I learned to look for possibilities in real estate, health, and communication. A key moment was realizing that results start in the mind, not just with practical how-to's.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice is to find the 'who' not the 'how' - connect with people who already know what you want to achieve and let them guide you. This speeds up the learning curve dramatically. As Tony Robbins said, you're one person away from lifetimes of wealth. Don't wait to know all the plans before starting; just ask for help.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Ask yourself 'what if they say yes?' instead of focusing on potential no's. Don't give up after rejections because it takes many calls or conversations to get the yeses that make it worthwhile. Focus on outcomes and the people you can serve rather than all the stop signs and roadblocks along the way.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is helping people overcome skepticism and the belief that nothing can change, especially women who've tried everything. The opportunity lies in showing them possibilities through mindset shifts, systems, and automation so they can use their time and money meaningfully instead of just earning to pay bills.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, communication, and vulnerability are most important. Being willing to admit when I don't know something and ask for help opened up better answers than trying to figure everything out alone.
