Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, relationships, and a deep sense of gratitude.

I came to the United States from Ukraine in the 1990s as an exchange student. Adjusting to a new culture at a young age was not always easy, but it taught me adaptability, determination, and the value of hard work. Those early experiences shaped how I approach both life and leadership.

I began my career as an Associate Financial Representative supporting a high-performing advisor. While I was learning the operational side of the business, I realized what energized me most was helping others grow. That discovery led me into coaching and development, where I found my true passion.

As a mother of three, I am constantly reminded that success is not about titles or recognition — it is about impact. Being selected for the Women’s Leadership Program and receiving the Culture Keeper of the Year Award were meaningful honors, but what matters most to me is building strong relationships, supporting others through challenges, and helping people believe in themselves.

For me, success has always been about growth — both my own and the growth of those around me.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the best pieces of career advice I have received was to think bigger than what feels immediately in front of me.

My managing director, who has been an important mentor in my career, challenged me to see beyond the limitations I sometimes placed on myself. In an industry where women are still underrepresented in leadership, he encouraged me to pursue growth confidently and not shrink my ambitions.

I have also been fortunate to have a strong female mentor who leads her own successful practice. From her, I learned the importance of composure, perspective, and steady confidence. Knowing that I can call her for guidance — whether I need strategic advice or simply reassurance — has been invaluable.

The greatest lesson from both mentors has been this: don’t limit yourself. Surround yourself with people who challenge you, support you, and remind you of what you’re capable of — especially on the days you forget.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Many women hesitate to enter financial services because of the perception of instability, especially in commission-based roles. My advice is not to let that fear make the decision for you. This industry offers a rare opportunity where your growth, income, and impact are directly tied to your effort, discipline, and commitment.

It is not always easy. There will be challenging days, and resilience is essential. But you will also gain confidence, independence, and the ability to build a meaningful career that truly helps people navigate important life decisions. Surround yourself with strong mentors, stay consistent, and don’t take setbacks personally — they are part of the growth process.

We need more women in this profession. Women bring empathy, thoughtful communication, and relationship-centered leadership that clients deeply value. If you are willing to learn, remain steady, and believe in your ability to grow, there is absolutely space for you in this industry.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The financial services industry is at a pivotal moment. One of the greatest challenges we face is developing and retaining the next generation of advisors in an increasingly fast-paced and digitally driven world. Many early-career professionals enter the field without fully understanding the discipline, resilience, and long-term mindset required to build a sustainable practice.

At the same time, this presents a significant opportunity. There is growing demand for personalized financial guidance, particularly as clients navigate economic uncertainty, generational wealth transfer, and complex planning needs. Firms that prioritize mentorship, structured development, and strong leadership will be best positioned to meet that demand.

Additionally, increasing diversity within the industry — particularly the advancement of women in financial services — represents both a challenge and an opportunity. Creating environments where talented professionals feel supported, developed, and empowered is essential for the future growth and credibility of our field.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are integrity, relationships, resilience, and service. I believe the foundation of both strong teams and strong families is built on trust, accountability, and genuine connection.

Community involvement is deeply important to me. I am an active member of the Women’s Field Association and support Community Cooperative in Lee County, where we help provide food, education, and essential resources to families in need. As a firm, we also participate in holiday adoption programs and seasonal giving initiatives — efforts that mean a great deal to me personally.

Originally from Eastern Europe, I was raised with a deep appreciation for hard work, gratitude, and financial responsibility. Those values continue to shape how I lead and how I live. I am a proud mother of three, and outside of work I cherish time with my family, reading, traveling, and enjoying the Florida coast.
