Her Story
About Anna
Anna Beatriz Nascimento is a trilingual communications and customer experience professional with over five years of experience supporting public institutions, nonprofits, and mission-driven platforms. Originally from Brazil, she began her career in diversity and inclusion in 2018 at a nonprofit dedicated to helping young people access internships and employment opportunities. Her early work shaped her passion for equitable access, cross-cultural collaboration, and human-centered service.
After completing her degree, Anna participated in a cultural exchange program in the United States, where she further developed her adaptability, emotional intelligence, and leadership skills. During this time, she continued collaborating remotely with Brazilian organizations, helping them refine their communication strategies and project operations. Her experiences across both countries have strengthened her global perspective and deepened her ability to connect diverse teams toward shared goals.
Today, Anna serves as Administrative Project Manager at Negrê – Mídia Negra Nordestina, a digital media platform focused on race, gender, and representation. She leads internal operations and supports the platform’s global growth, working closely with young, often college-aged professionals from Brazil’s Black community. Currently pursuing her MBA at Washington University of Science and Technology, Anna is dedicated to combining her skills in project management, inclusive communication, and strategic leadership to create meaningful impact on a global scale.
