Her Interview
Ten minutes with Anna
01What do you attribute your success to?
I have very thick skin. I go after what I want. I constantly pitch, constantly keep going, constantly pushing. That's how you succeed.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Know your numbers, know the story. Have the ability to influence people. Have the ability to make people listen to you. Be credible in your answers. Have every number, every assumption that you have analysis proven, and speak with conviction and confidence.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's not an easy industry to be in. It's very cutthroat. It's very heavily still male-dominated. You have to have a very thick skin to make it. The education obviously helps a lot, but a lot of times, as a woman, unfortunately, you have to go over some people's heads to make it.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Ability to follow up on your word, on your promises. Integrity. That's probably the most important ones for me.
