Ten minutes with Anna
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to knowing how to adapt to the economy and to different cultures, along with being passionate about what we do because we love it.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice is perseverance, especially from business owners, always finding new ways to adapt to the economy and clients' needs, along with adaptability. If you want to stay in business a long time, you have to adjust many times.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Focus on finding what specialty they have that they're really good at and focus on that as their niche.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge is having the right diplomas in each country to practice, such as not being able to transfer massage experience and needing to go back to school despite 30 years of experience. I see it as an opportunity because the Washington State massage program is one of the best.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Loving people, wanting to take care of people, and compassion.
