Her Story

About Anna

For more than three decades, Anna Gibbs has helped people discover what is possible when leadership begins from within. As an Executive Leadership Coach, Corporate Leadership Consultant, Speaker, Podcast Host, and Author, she has built a career around one central belief: the quality of our leadership is directly connected to the quality of our relationship with ourselves.

Known for her ability to quickly identify patterns, uncover root causes, and bring clarity to complex personal and organizational challenges, Anna works with executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, and leadership teams who want to lead with greater confidence, authenticity, and impact. Her work blends strategic business insight with emotional intelligence, helping leaders strengthen communication, navigate change, build high-performing teams, and create cultures where people thrive.

Anna's leadership experience extends far beyond coaching. During her 14 years with Keller Williams Realty, she served as CEO and later General Manager of a multi-office organization, helping grow one market center from just 43 agents to more than 250 while developing hundreds of leaders and earning ownership in three franchises. That combination of executive experience and coaching expertise allows her to bridge strategy with the realities leaders face every day.

A certified coach, leadership consultant, DISC communication expert, and longtime member of the International Coaching Federation, Anna is also the host of the Monday Morning Mojo podcast, where she shares practical leadership insights and conversations that challenge listeners to think differently about success, identity, and growth.

Her debut book, Getting Back to You, reflects a deeply personal journey of rediscovering authenticity after years of achievement, responsibility, and expectation. Through her writing, speaking, and coaching, Anna invites others to reconnect with who they are beneath the titles, obligations, and accomplishments so they can lead—and live—with greater alignment, purpose, and self-trust.

Whether she's coaching an executive, addressing an audience, or facilitating leadership development inside an organization, Anna's mission remains the same: to help people become the kind of leaders whose greatest influence comes not from their position, but from the authenticity of who they are.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Anna

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to continuous growth. Throughout my career, I've never believed that success comes from having all the answers. It comes from being willing to ask better questions, stay open to learning, and have the courage to evolve.

I've also learned that achievement alone isn't enough. There have been seasons in my life when I looked successful on the outside but realized I had drifted away from who I truly was. Those experiences taught me that sustainable success isn't about accomplishing more—it's about staying aligned with your values, trusting yourself, and leading authentically.

I believe relationships matter. Every opportunity in my career has been built on trust, integrity, and genuinely caring about the success of others. Whether I'm coaching an executive, leading a team, or speaking to an audience, my goal is never simply to help people perform better. It's to help them become the kind of leaders who create lasting impact because they're leading from a place of clarity and authenticity.

Finally, I attribute my success to the people who have believed in me, challenged me, and encouraged me to keep growing. None of us succeeds alone. I've been fortunate to learn from exceptional mentors, colleagues, clients, friends, and family members, and their influence continues to shape the leader I am today.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is simple: don't spend your career trying to become the person you think everyone else wants you to be.

Early in our careers, it's easy to believe that success comes from having all the right answers, proving ourselves, or fitting into someone else's definition of leadership. While there is value in learning from others, don't lose your own voice in the process. The most respected leaders I've worked with aren't copies of someone else—they understand their values, know their strengths, and lead with authenticity.

Invest in your own development long before someone else invests in you. Read, ask questions, find mentors, seek coaching, welcome feedback, and never stop learning. Your technical skills may open doors, but your emotional intelligence, self-awareness, communication, and ability to build relationships will determine how far you go.

Don't be afraid to take opportunities before you feel completely ready. Confidence rarely comes first; it grows through action. Some of the most meaningful opportunities in my own career came because I was willing to say yes before I had everything figured out.

Finally, remember that success is not just about what you achieve—it's about who you become along the way. Build a career you're proud of, but don't lose yourself while you're building it. The strongest leaders are the ones who stay connected to who they are, even as they continue to grow.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I believe one of the biggest challenges facing leaders today is not a lack of information—it's a lack of clarity. We have more books, podcasts, courses, and leadership advice than ever before, yet many leaders feel more overwhelmed, distracted, and disconnected than they did a decade ago.

Leadership today requires more than technical expertise or strategic thinking. It requires self-awareness, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to lead people through constant change. Organizations are looking for leaders who can build trust, navigate uncertainty, communicate effectively, and create cultures where people can thrive—not just perform.

At the same time, I see an incredible opportunity. We're witnessing a shift away from outdated leadership models built solely on authority and toward leadership grounded in authenticity, connection, and purpose. Employees want leaders who are human, approachable, and willing to listen. They want workplaces where people feel valued, where communication is honest, and where success isn't measured only by results but also by the health of the culture.

For coaches and leadership consultants, that creates an exciting opportunity to help leaders develop the inner skills that drive external results. The future belongs to leaders who understand that the greatest competitive advantage isn't simply better strategy—it's better leadership. And better leadership always begins with greater self-leadership.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

At the heart of everything I do is authenticity. I believe we're at our best—in leadership, business, and life—when our actions align with our values and we're willing to show up as who we truly are. That doesn't mean we're perfect; it means we're honest, self-aware, and committed to continual growth.

Growth is another core value for me. I believe learning never ends, and some of our greatest breakthroughs come when we're willing to challenge our own thinking, embrace feedback, and remain curious. Whether I'm coaching a CEO or reflecting on my own life, I'm always asking, "What is this experience here to teach me?"

I also value service and relationships. Success has never been about titles or achievements alone. It's about using our gifts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and building relationships rooted in trust, respect, and genuine connection.

Finally, I value courage. Some of the most important decisions I've made personally and professionally required me to step into uncertainty before I felt completely ready. Courage isn't the absence of fear; it's choosing to move forward in alignment with your values despite it. I believe that's where real growth—and real leadership—begins.
