Anna Itkin

Anna Itkin is currently pursuing a degree in actuarial science at Florida State University, with plans to graduate in December. She is majoring in actuarial science, which involves statistical analysis on risk for insurance companies, and has completed multiple internships in health insurance and consulting, including a recent role at KPMG as a health actuarial intern working on Medicaid advisory, Medicare, auditing, reserving, and other actuarial projects. Anna has begun her actuarial exams, having passed the Financial Mathematics exam focused on calculating risks of financial instruments and the Probability exam, which is statistics-heavy with calculus elements. She attended Bergen County Academies for high school, where she majored in theater, an experience that built her discipline and gave her an edge in a field often seen as introverted. Anna is a company liaison for the Future Seminole Actuaries organization at her university, helping organize career fairs and supporting students with internship advice, mock interviews, and resume feedback. She has also been involved with a dance team and the Jewish organization Hillel as a volunteer, and previously volunteered teaching math through the Why Math nonprofit.
