Anna Sender

Anna Sender is a CPA and the founder of a strategy consulting firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. After earning her degree in accounting from UMass Amherst and obtaining her CPA license, she began her career at a regional accounting firm before moving to EY and then KPMG, where she participated in an internal rotation that led her to strategy consulting. Recognizing the value of accounting as the language of business, she transitioned fully into strategy consulting, focusing on the complex and highly regulated financial services industry. Recently, she launched her own consultancy by succeeding a retiring consultant in his business. In addition to her professional work, Sender contributes to her community by developing a financial literacy program offered in both English and Spanish for the Latin community in Boston and by mentoring an accounting student through the Boston HERC program. She emphasizes the importance of well-placed confidence, humility, and the willingness to ask for help and partner with others as key to career success.
