About Anna
I started my career as a branding expert, developing brand identity and digital assets for companies, and then eventually transitioned into the UX UI field, where I started to develop platforms for tech and finance companies. I had an agency of my own at some point, working successfully with European and U.S. tech companies. Currently, I'm working for a U.S. company in New York, heading their design team. My typical day involves a lot of strategical thinking about the development of the app itself, a lot of work around the product offering for the clients of the company that I'm working with, and developing the absolutely best experience for them, including all the flows and wireframes. I've worked with a lot of very well-established tech companies, creating branding and product for them. I really take a lot of pride in supporting companies in the early stages and helping them enter the market with the best chances of actually winning the customer base and taking a strong position and differentiation point on the market.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received was that if you release a product that is absolutely up to your standards and it's perfect, then that means you launched too late. You need to make yourself comfortable with releasing products that are not exactly perfect and testing them out there on the real market with real usage, and then perfecting them on the go. Often people are just trying to achieve perfection and never actually do anything or release anything, and it could be even worse - you can launch the perfect thing and then discover that no one actually cares about it. So it's very important to shift your mindset to actually releasing things as fast as possible, on the best quality possible, but not aiming for perfection from your first shot.
