About Annalisa
She is an accomplished interior architect, designer, and educator with over three decades of experience across Australia and the United States. She is the Director of Annalisa Capurro Design, an interior design studio she founded in 1989 in Australia, and of Capurro and Davis Design, where she has led projects since 2018. She also serves as Treasurer on the Modernism Week Board of Directors in Palm Springs, California, a role she has held since 2023. Her earlier career includes over 25 years as a Design Educator at TAFE NSW Sydney Institute Design Centre Enmore, where she taught architectural drawings, architectural history, and design. She holds degrees from Charles Sturt University and UNSW. Her career reflects a deep commitment to design excellence, architectural preservation, and educating the next generation of designers.
