Her Interview

Ten minutes with Anne

01What do you attribute your success to?

To be honest, you gotta be a quick thinker. There's always moving parts in both industries, so you just have to be quick on your feet, make sure that everything is still moving, and production can still move on. When I was regional manager, I had 11 stores just in the state of Florida.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't give up, you know? You set your goals. Push towards them. Because they'll eventually open up.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Just trust your instincts, you know? Put yourself out there. If you're a hard worker, and you try to do what you can to make sure that everything is moving the way it's supposed to, you'll succeed.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There is some challenges, but I haven't really ran into like major challenges because I feel like I've moved up so much within the company. You run into people with all different types of personalities, and you just have to learn how to manage that, not let it get to you. It's not you, it's a situation.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, integrity, obviously. Loyalty, yes. Putting in the work. Having that tenacity and grit to do the work. I lead by example. I will not ask anybody to do anything I would not do myself.
