Carson City, NV 89701

Annelise Dankworth is a dedicated Life and Financial Coach, autism advocate, and competitive swimmer based in Carson City, Nevada. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Research and Experimental Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, along with a minor in Communication Studies, and additional academic experience in graphic design. With a professional background spanning behavioral health, finance, data analysis, and international communications, Annelise brings a well-rounded and evidence-based perspective to her work. Her passion lies in developing meaningful training initiatives, mentorship programs, and supportive spaces that empower individuals to thrive.

For the past two years, Annelise has specialized in life and financial coaching for high-functioning ADHD autistic women, particularly those diagnosed later in life—a journey she personally understands. Following her own diagnosis, she experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating the workforce without adequate support, often finding that adult services were limited or inaccessible beyond a certain age. In response, she created the podcast Women Who Are Autistic to build community and share resources. Through this platform, she recognized a critical need for individualized, one-on-one support, leading her to deepen her work as a coach. Drawing on her background in behavioral psychology, she helps clients who are often intelligent and creative yet struggling with burnout, identity, and life navigation post-diagnosis.

In her current role at Blossom and Thrive Coaching, Annelise is committed to helping her clients stop masking, recover from burnout, and build lives that feel authentic and aligned with their values. She combines practical financial coaching as a certified Ramsey Preferred Coach with compassionate life coaching to support sustainable transformation. Her previous roles with the Nevada State Legislature, Included Health, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. reflect her strong operational, communication, and analytical skills, while her earlier leadership experience with Youth With A Mission highlights her ability to guide and inspire others. Across every stage of her career, Annelise has remained deeply committed to advocacy, empowerment, and helping others create meaningful, self-directed lives.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to honestly getting the feedback from my listeners and from my clients, because without them, I would not be doing what I do. Just really being part of somebody else's story and being able to help them from where I was is really what I love seeing. Seeing other women being able to just get out of the struggle and be able to really start their lives is what keeps me going.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say that it can be scary, but also people need you. You have a story to tell, and whether you think it's small or big, it doesn't matter, but it can have a huge influence on other women.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My most valued thing is that you never know what people are going through, and if you have an opportunity to help someone, whether that would even be someone struggling to put their groceries in their car, to act on it, because you never know if you're gonna make their day. I also really value family. I think, you know, work is always gonna be there, but your family is not, so family time is very important, and investing in relationships around you. Life can be so stressful, especially these times that we're in, and it's important to remember to do the things that you love and that it's okay to take care of yourself, too.
