About Annelise
Annelise Eastes is a multidisciplinary performing arts and live-events professional with 15 years of professional experience spanning stage management, talent coordination, event production, and creative direction. She directs a company that produces live performances, workshops, and socials alongside other performance companies. She also works as a freelance stage manager, coordinating operations for corporate events as well as a variety of theatrical productions. Annelise began her career as a classical ballet dancer, earning her BFA from Butler University where she minored in business administration. Her core training came from Dean Dance Center and the Sacramento Ballet. After working with show residencies in Las Vegas, including stage managing the award-winning variety show Extravaganza, she moved to California and founded her company, initially in Sacramento before establishing its primary location in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds certifications in corporate stage management from the Event Training Academy and completed LMG's Production Boot Camp.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to not rely on external validation. I think it's important to be open to feedback, and be teachable, and learn from the people around you, but ultimately, you should Develop your own standard for what success looks like. And if you can build that sort of intrinsic motivation. It will take you a lot farther than seeking approval from other people.
