New York, NY 10016

Annemarie Uellendahl is a motivated and personable brand ambassador with over three years of experience in sales, hospitality, and community engagement. A Long Island native, she has built a diverse professional background through roles in education, customer service, and public safety—each one strengthening her adaptability, time management, and communication skills. In her current position at The Uno Agency, she thrives on direct interaction with the public, managing promotional events and driving consumer interest through genuine, results-driven engagement.

Annemarie’s previous experience includes serving as a receptionist at East Hills Chevrolet, where she handled customer transactions and scheduling with professionalism and efficiency, and as a teacher assistant at Roosevelt Children’s Academy, where she supported classroom learning and helped manage daily routines. She also worked as a Special Police Officer for the Long Beach Police Department, enforcing public ordinances and assisting with crowd control during large-scale events. These roles have shaped her into a reliable, detail-oriented professional who is quick to adapt to new environments and challenges.

A graduate of Nassau Community College with an Associate of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, Annemarie graduated cum laude and was active in several academic honor societies. She is now seeking opportunities that will allow her to continue growing in roles that highlight her strengths in planning, customer service, and relationship-building. Outside of work, she enjoys rollerblading, listening to music, and writing poetry, with aspirations of publishing her own book in the future.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to always showing up with a smile—because to me, that’s the heart of great customer service. My background as a teaching assistant and car dealership receptionist helped me develop strong people skills, which I use every day as a brand ambassador. I love that no two days are the same, and I take pride in building connections in different communities while representing a brand I believe in.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is simple and personal: sometimes you just have to take a chance on something new. Don’t be afraid to make that change or take the leap—it could lead you exactly where you’re meant to be.
