About Annetta
Annetta Sparks is a compassionate healthcare entrepreneur, community leader, and advocate dedicated to improving the lives of seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and families in need. She is the CEO and owner of several organizations, including Loving Hearts Private Care Inc, Loving Hearts Transportation, Loving Hearts T.H.R.I.V.E Employment Services, and Loving Hearts Mothers & Daughters Unity. With a career rooted in caregiving and service, Annetta has spent decades building programs that provide compassionate support, independence, and opportunities for vulnerable populations.
Beginning her professional journey as a medical assistant, Annetta developed a passion for caring for elderly individuals and eventually founded her own home care agency in 2005. Through dedication, faith, and continuous learning, she expanded her services to include transportation support for developmentally disabled clients, supportive living services, tailored services, and employment opportunities through Loving Hearts T.H.R.I.V.E. She is also expanding her vision in healthcare and wellness through future residential care initiatives and Violet’s Manor Med/Spa, reflecting her commitment to creating spaces that promote dignity, healing, and overall well-being.
Beyond her businesses, Annetta is deeply committed to community empowerment and service. Through Loving Hearts Mothers & Daughters Unity, she works to encourage, inspire, and uplift families by helping break generational barriers and strengthen relationships. She believes that true success comes from making a meaningful difference in people’s lives, leading with compassion, integrity, and the principle of treating others the way she would want to be treated. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my faith, continuous learning, hard work, and commitment to serving others. God has guided my journey, and I have remained dedicated to growing, giving back, and making a positive impact in my community.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to build with purpose, stay committed to growth, and create something that can make a lasting impact. My long-term goal is to expand my residential care homes and organizations, eventually transitioning into an oversight role while continuing to support the people and communities I serve. I also hope to enjoy the flexibility to travel, live comfortably, and leave a lasting legacy by passing my businesses on to others.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay disciplined, consistent, and resilient. Believe in yourself, embrace challenges, and never let rejection discourage you. Pursue work you are passionate about, and continue learning and growing throughout your career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field is expanding access to wellness and holistic care. I am currently launching a wellness med spa in Inglewood, California, offering services such as foot detox, yoni steam, massages, and future IV therapy. The goal is not only to provide wellness experiences for clients but also to give back by offering complimentary services to social workers and referral partners who support the community.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me most are compassion, integrity, and service. My passion for caring for others, especially the elderly, inspired my career path. I have built my businesses independently with a focus on making a meaningful difference in my clients’ lives. I believe in treating others with the same kindness, respect, and care that I would want for myself.
