About Annette
Annette Arsenault is a functional health coach and educator based in the Tampa, Florida, area with 14 years of experience helping individuals improve their health through a root-cause approach to wellness. Specializing in gut health and functional medicine, she empowers clients to support their body's natural healing processes through practical lifestyle changes, nutrition, hydration, sleep, movement, and education. Certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Health Coach and as a Dietary Supplement Specialist, with additional training in functional blood chemistry, Arsenault combines evidence-informed strategies with personalized coaching to help clients restore energy, improve overall well-being, and achieve lasting health goals.
Before entering the functional health field, Arsenault built a diverse professional background in retail management and insurance while dedicating 26 years to raising and homeschooling her five children. Her experience as both an educator and caregiver shaped her passion for teaching others and translating complex health concepts into practical, sustainable steps. She has worked alongside functional medicine physicians and naturopaths, managed clinical operations, and now serves clients independently through one-on-one coaching, virtual consultations, group programs, and educational classes. She is also an active member of the Center Club in Tampa and Partners in Network and is beginning volunteer work with a veterans nonprofit that assists women and children with housing.
Arsenault attributes her success to her personal journey through health challenges, her unwavering faith, and her belief that helping others achieve better health is her calling. Guided by the principle of putting family first, she is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves by equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to take charge of their health. Her advice to those entering the wellness profession is simple yet powerful: be authentic, stay true to your purpose, and focus on genuinely helping people who are ready to improve their lives.

Ten minutes with Annette
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my personal experiences, my faith, and a genuine passion for helping others. Having faced many of the same challenges my clients are working to overcome allows me to connect with them with empathy and understanding. I believe this work is my calling, and that sense of purpose motivates me to serve others with compassion, authenticity, and a commitment to helping them achieve lasting health and wellness.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to be myself and embrace what comes naturally. Authenticity builds trust, and I have learned that the greatest impact comes from leading with my own strengths, values, and personality rather than trying to fit someone else's definition of success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to enter this field with a genuine desire to help people improve their health and well-being. Building meaningful relationships and supporting lasting change should always be the primary focus. At the same time, it is important to recognize that while you can educate, encourage, and support your clients, they must also be willing to take ownership of their own health journey.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges is building visibility, growing a client base, and sustaining an independent practice while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. At the same time, I see tremendous opportunity as more people seek personalized, preventative approaches to health and wellness. By remaining authentic and focused on delivering meaningful results, I believe independent practitioners can continue to make a significant impact in their communities.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family is my highest priority and the foundation for every decision I make. I believe success should never come at the expense of the people who matter most, and I strive to maintain a healthy balance between my professional and personal responsibilities. I also believe that meaningful work should positively impact the lives of others, and I measure success not only by personal achievement but by the difference I make in the people and communities I serve.
