Her Interview
Ten minutes with Anney
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, continuous learning, and a willingness to embrace change. After immigrating to the United States, I balanced work, graduate school, and family while building a career in technology. Those experiences taught me perseverance and the importance of staying curious. I also believe that success comes from building strong relationships, empowering others, and always being willing to learn something new.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was to never stop learning. Technology evolves quickly, and staying curious has allowed me to grow from marketing into customer data and technology leadership. I've learned that every challenge is an opportunity to develop new skills and broaden your perspective.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in your abilities, even if you don't have every answer. Don't let self-doubt prevent you from pursuing opportunities. Find mentors, ask questions, and keep learning. Your unique perspective is valuable, and confidence grows through experience—not before it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities is how artificial intelligence is transforming customer experience and marketing technology. Organizations have more data than ever before, but the challenge is turning that data into meaningful, responsible, and personalized experiences. The leaders who can connect technology with business strategy will create the most impact.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, continuous learning, and helping others are the values that guide me. I believe success is not only about personal achievement but also about how we support others, build stronger teams, and create a positive impact.
