About Annie

I am the President of the National Leiomyosarcoma Foundation, where I have served since October 2014, and Co-Founder of the Sarcoma Coalition, which I helped launch in 2017 to bring together over 30 sarcoma subtype patient advocacy organizations to address common challenges in diagnosis and treatment. I also serve as Patient Advocacy Co-Chair of the SARC Research Advocacy Council, as a member of the National Cancer Institute's Sarcoma Steering Committee, and as Advocacy Chair for Dr. David Liebner at the James Cancer Center at Ohio State University, providing patient advocacy perspectives in the review of sarcoma clinical trial concepts and design. I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Psychology and Personnel Management from Colorado Women's College and Webster College in St. Louis.
