About Annie

Annie Guy is a life coach, case manager, healthcare professional, wellness advocate, and entrepreneur whose career has centered on empowering individuals through expertise, empathy, and practical support. Based in Somerset, New Jersey, she is the founder of For the Love of Me, a life coaching practice she has operated for more than 12 years. Her coaching work focuses particularly on helping women embrace self-love, prioritize self-care, recognize their strengths, and create new paths forward. She provides clients with a supportive, nonjudgmental environment in both virtual and in-person settings, helping them acknowledge their past while focusing on their present circumstances and future goals.

Alongside her coaching practice, Guy has developed more than two decades of experience in healthcare and public service. She has served as Office Manager at Paul Gwozdz, M.D. Family Practice since 2001, overseeing clinical and administrative operations, supporting high-risk patients through case management, training medical students, coordinating patient care, and assisting with clinical procedures. Since 2022, she has also served as a Case Manager with Hughes Integrative Wellness, where she develops individualized case management plans, provides life-skills and personal-development support, coordinates with wellness professionals, and maintains clinical documentation while adhering to regulatory standards. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Counseling from Pillar College and an Associate Degree in Law Enforcement from Raritan Valley Community College.

Guy's commitment to empowerment extends beyond her professional roles through her vision for Franklin's Grace, a nonprofit initiative designed to provide stable housing and life-skills training for young women who lack dependable living arrangements. The initiative emphasizes financial management, household responsibilities, personal development, independent living, and life coaching as foundations for long-term stability. Her professional and community contributions have been recognized through the Women in Resilience Award and Pillar College's Winning Women Award. Through her coaching, healthcare work, advocacy, and nonprofit efforts, Guy remains focused on helping people understand their worth, develop resilience, and build healthier and more independent lives.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Annie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, empathy, and the experiences that have shaped my ability to support others. My personal experiences with adversity have strengthened my commitment to helping people recognize their value, prioritize self-care, and move forward with confidence. My education, professional experience, and dedication to personal development have also enabled me to approach complex challenges with both compassion and practical insight.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to recognize their value, practice self-love and self-care, and understand that their past does not have to determine their future. Meet yourself where you are, acknowledge your experiences, identify your strengths, and take intentional steps toward the life you want to create. It is also important to seek support, remain open to personal growth, and build a foundation that allows you to become more independent and resilient.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Empathy, self-love, self-care, personal growth, resilience, and empowerment are central to the way I approach my work and personal life. I believe in meeting people where they are, creating a nonjudgmental environment, and helping individuals recognize their worth while developing the skills and confidence needed to move forward.
