About Annie

Annie Noonan is a talent acquisition and workforce strategy professional with extensive experience in technical recruiting, business recruiting, onboarding, workforce planning, and client partnership. She currently serves as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at NISC, where she supports technical and leadership hiring, employee relations, and HR functions including immigration law for employees in multiple states. Her background includes recruiting leadership at Kelly Services, where she handled on-site hiring at a Bobcat Doosan factory for two and a half years, operational management as an Executive Team Lead at Target for a couple of years where she discovered her passion for recruiting, and earlier experience in sports administration and event management while playing college volleyball and softball and working with intramural and club sports programs. She holds a general Bachelor's of Science degree and has been involved in the Young Professionals Society since 2017, as well as workforce development committees, mock interview volunteering for students, and the Central Dakota Student Career Expo committee. Noonan attributes her success to a recruiter who believed in her, the grit learned from college sports, and her personal experience with cancer twice at a young age, which fuels her passion for educating younger hires on benefits.

Ten minutes with Annie

01What do you attribute your success to?

Being reached out to by someone in talent acquisition who believed in me impacted me greatly, and I've tried to pay that forward with candidates. Playing college sports taught me grit and determination. Having had cancer twice at a young age taught me how important benefits are, which I'm passionate about educating younger hires on.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

It's pretty rare to end up in the career path you thought you were going to start in. I've had my career transition multiple times. Be open, take that chance, try a new role. The path is not linear, it's okay to pivot sometimes.
