She earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics from the University of Delhi in 2023, followed by a Master's in Economics with a concentration in Data Science from Northeastern University in 2025. Beyond her professional work, Anoushka contributes by editing papers for a democracy-related non-profit and co-authored a paper published by the Pioneer Institute on education in Massachusetts. She attributes her success to her parents, who supported her ambitions despite coming from a South Asian background with patriarchal traditions. 01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my parents who helped me do all of this and never held me back, coming from a South Asian background with a patriarchal system.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is to just keep going despite anything that happens. It's fine if you fall, it only matters as long as you bounce back up.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Do not let anybody tell you that you can't do the math in econ. There's no reason to give up because econ is math-oriented. There's so much more than math in econ, just understanding econ and dwelling into the world.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The job market is bad after college, it's hard to navigate life after college. There's a big right-wing sentiment in politics intertwined with economics. Opportunities include AI creating many research ideas, income inequality gap increasing due to AI, and capitalism growing so practicing in college helps in corporate world.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Being honest with yourself and others, and being kind to yourself is really important. If you can't figure out something, be honest about it.
