What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I wish to see greater recognition of Hispanic women and to support their representation so future generations can see themselves reflected and aspire to leadership.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
A major early-career challenge was adapting to a new country, language, and culture after immigrating. My ongoing professional challenge is staying on top of continual change in healthcare and technology. I see opportunity in integrating cybersecurity, particularly governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), into healthcare revenue-cycle work.
