Ten minutes with Antoinette
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to perseverance, purpose, and a commitment to continuous growth. My more than 18 years of experience in healthcare have taught me the value of discipline, adaptability, and serving others, while my journey as an entrepreneur has challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone and turn my passion for wellness into meaningful impact.
I am also intentional about investing in my education and personal development. Pursuing my degree in Entrepreneurship with a minor in Nutrition has strengthened my knowledge and given me the opportunity to connect my professional experience with my passion for health and wellness. My involvement in leadership organizations and as a student ambassador has further developed my confidence, leadership skills, and desire to make a difference.
Ultimately, I believe my success comes from staying true to my purpose, embracing every opportunity to learn, and remaining committed to creating positive change. I am motivated by the desire to empower others and build something that not only reflects my values but also contributes to healthier, stronger communities.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is never to stop learning and to be willing to step outside of my comfort zone, because growth often begins where familiarity ends. I’ve learned that staying true to my purpose, embracing opportunities, and building meaningful relationships can open doors I never imagined.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the health and wellness industry is to embrace life by making their health and nutrition a priority. The choices we make each day have a profound impact on how we think, feel, perform, and show up for ourselves and others.
One practice that has made a meaningful difference in my own life is intentionally taking one day each week to pause and reset. In a world that often celebrates being busy, I believe it is important to recognize that rest is not a weakness; it is part of wellness. I use this time to step away from the demands of my schedule, reconnect with myself and my family, recharge mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and create space to reflect on what truly matters. That intentional time allows me to return to my responsibilities with greater clarity, energy, and purpose.
I believe in taking care of myself from the inside out so that I can show up as my best self and make a greater impact on others. Health and wellness should not be viewed as a temporary goal or something we pursue only when we are overwhelmed; they should be embraced as a natural, sustainable, and lifelong commitment. When we prioritize ourselves, we are better equipped to lead, serve, inspire, and create meaningful change in the lives of others.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in the health and wellness industry is helping people shift from a reactive approach to health toward proactive, sustainable lifestyle choices that prioritize nutrition, self-care, and prevention. At the same time, the industry faces the challenge of making trustworthy, natural wellness solutions more accessible and helping individuals distinguish evidence-informed guidance from the overwhelming amount of information available today.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, purpose, continuous growth, wellness, and service to others. In my personal life, family is especially important to me, and I make intentional time to stay connected with them, even during this busy season of my life. I strive to lead with authenticity, continue learning, and make choices that positively impact my life, my family, my community, and the people I have the opportunity to serve.
