What do you attribute your success to?
For me, growth is non-negotiable—the commitment to continuous learning never stops. I believe in staying curious, engaged, and open to new perspectives by actively listening, building relationships, and seeking out meaningful conversations.
Networking is not an occasional effort—it’s a discipline. It’s about cultivating partnerships, exchanging ideas, and consistently expanding your circle of influence. That mindset has been foundational to my success and remains a principle I live by every day.
Regardless of where I am in my career, I approach every experience with the belief that there is always something new to learn. Age and experience are not limitations—they are advantages when paired with an open mind and a willingness to evolve.
I also view feedback as a critical tool for growth. Constructive feedback is not criticism—it is insight. It sharpens your perspective, strengthens your capabilities, and prepares you for what’s next.
The reality is simple: when you stay open, stay connected, and stay committed to learning, you position yourself for opportunities you may not yet see—but will be ready for when they arrive.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice that I received is, Be authentic. Be relentless. Believe in yourself—no matter what. Doubt is temporary. Confidence is a choice.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never stop breaking barriers—and never stop showing up.
Early in my career, I entered a male-dominated environment where I had to establish my presence and prove my value. I learned quickly that success requires confidence, persistence, and the willingness to advocate for yourself.
There will be moments when doors don’t open easily. Meetings may get canceled. Opportunities may feel out of reach. Show up anyway. Stay visible. Stay prepared. Continue to demonstrate what you bring to the table and the impact you can make.
Do it with professionalism, but also with determination. Sometimes, you have to challenge perspectives and help others see what’s possible—through your lens. Change doesn’t happen all at once; it happens step by step, through consistency and courage. Be confident in your voice, committed to your growth, and relentless in creating space for yourself and others.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Believe it or not, for me, it's finding the right person for the financial advisor role. I'm very concentrated on what this role is, the day in, the day out, and what it's going to be. I'm not about to hire someone just to hire. I build a relationship with my candidates, I understand what they're looking for, I understand what our mission is here, and I make sure it's a fit for both, right? Because that's, at the end of the day, what this is - it's making sure it's a fit for both. I want to make sure I'm setting you up for success. I'm not going to set you up to fail. It's finding someone who wants to do this career, and it's not easy. But, at the end of the day, watching my hires succeed in where they're going, it's truly rewarding to me.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My values are grounded in kindness, respect, integrity, empathy, and compassion, paired with a strong commitment to honesty, autonomy, boldness, and achievement. These principles guide how I lead, how I connect, and how I show up every day.
I also believe in recognizing progress—never wait for external validation to acknowledge your success. Take ownership of your accomplishments, celebrate your growth, and give yourself the recognition you’ve earned.
Confidence is built from within—and sometimes, the most important acknowledgment is the one you give yourself.
