About Araceli

As an educator, I am always looking at how my instruction is influencing students' learning. In a regular class session, I make sure that the information I am imparting to students is being expressed in various modalities - visually, auditory, and also written - so that students can learn from it in their own unique styles. I also take into account the individual, the human in the student, because life happens, and we need to adjust to life events in order for students to succeed. Through my physics background, I see everything as energy and energy interacting with matter, and through my 500-hour yoga training, mainly in Kundalini yoga, I see a synchronicity right there. The matter that we are made out of and the energy within - it's all encompassing what I have been learning in physics. Now as a bioscience student, I'm learning the theory and practice of microscopy, genomics, DNA, PCR, and cloning. It's quite interesting, just seeing the world with new, fresh eyes through biology, and what I already know about the human body in terms of the matter and energy and the world around us through physics, especially quantum theory - it's just amazing.
