Ten minutes with Aretha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would attribute my success to my belief in the product. I can give testimonials of how it has helped me,

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I would tell a young entrepreneur what I learned from the Organo training: "Failure is another step to success." "Look at the big picture" is something that I learned from volunteering and from my experience marketing Organo products. I think this is an important perspective for any young woman starting in business.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The hardest thing is getting started. You have to find the right people. Funding is always a problem early on. Keep trying.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Although, they may complement each other; work and personal life aren't the same thing. When you put your work and personal life together, you become out of balance or can blur boundaries, especially interpersonally.
