About Ariadna
Ariadna Cribeiro has been in the manufacturing environment since graduating in 1994. She came to the United States from Cuba in December 2013 and began working in manufacturing at the end of 2014. Her most recent position was as senior manufacturing engineer and senior manufacturing and process engineer at Amplify, where she handled documentation, follow-up, startups, and OEE improvements. She is currently in a contract remote design role at Dexter Company, working with SolidWorks and Inventor software. She grew up with a mechanical engineer father and developed a strong engineering background from that experience. Ariadna is a hard worker who learns quickly in new environments and is known for being approachable and understanding others perspectives. She aims to start her own engineering-related business.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I grew up without thinking about it, because I am the female of two siblings, and I was the one that was closer to my dad. So, you really are passionate about mechanical. Don't think about your sex.
