Arkeshia Hamlett, MBA, is a procurement professional and Senior Sourcing Specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, bringing more than a decade of experience in procurement, contract management, sourcing, and administrative operations. She began her career with the City of Atlanta as an administrative professional and quickly advanced into procurement roles, progressing from Procurement Assistant to Contracting Officer. Her career growth reflects her ability to manage complex projects, build strong vendor relationships, and deliver strategic solutions in public-sector procurement environments.

Throughout her career, Arkeshia has developed expertise in construction procurement, strategic sourcing, competitive bidding, contract negotiations, and supplier management. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, she served as a Contract Specialist III with Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, where she managed large-scale contracts and procurement activities. In her current role, she oversees high-value sourcing initiatives, including complex construction and mechanical upgrade projects, ensuring compliance, cost effectiveness, and successful project execution. Her leadership approach emphasizes accountability, clear communication, and collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Arkeshia holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and Services from Kaplan University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from University of West Georgia.
