Asha Salim
Asha Salim is a Fulbright Scholar, writer, and educator with a dynamic career bridging academia, creative content, and cultural storytelling. Currently a Fulbright Scholar and Lecturer at Temple University, she brings a global perspective to her teaching while mentoring students in the arts, humanities, and digital media. Asha’s work reflects a deep commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices and exploring cultural memory, history, and identity through both writing and curation.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Asha has a rich professional background in creative consulting and content development. She has held roles with renowned organizations such as Condé Nast’s Vogue Italia, Off-White, and Loro Piana, where she specialized in social media, editorial, and creative content strategy. Her projects often intersect art, storytelling, and cultural commentary, including hosting international events like the Creal Club in Milan, which explores practices of rest, joy, and community among women from diverse backgrounds.
Asha holds a Master of Fine Arts from Temple University and a Master of Science in Marketing, Communication, and Digital Strategy from 24ORE Business School. She has been recognized with multiple scholarships and fellowships, including the Zegna Foundation Founder’s Scholarship, and has served as an event coordinator and speaker assistant in arts and culture initiatives. Fluent in English and professionally proficient in French, Asha continues to merge her passions for education, writing, and global cultural engagement in all her endeavors.
