Her Interview

Ten minutes with Ashlee

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my aspirations and goals, staying true to myself and my values, and hard work that speaks for itself. I always wanted to be the face of building one brand, and now I'm doing that while creating new goals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My grandfather told me to never expect anything and you won't be disappointed. The best advice is to stick with something you enjoy, build relationships and connections, earn your stripes through time and experience, and let hard work speak for itself without burning bridges.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Stick with what you know and trust your intuition. Be true to your word and values, respect yourself, and don't let others change who you are. Find the right company that values you as a person.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Opportunities include the huge upward trend in craft and small batch tequila since COVID as people focus on quality. Challenges include not being able to be everywhere at once while managing time on the road.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Time for myself, discipline, leaving work at work and home at home, respecting myself, and making time for the little things like working out or walks no matter how busy the day is.
