Her Story

About Ashley

Ashley Bolden is the Founder of Lynnmonade, a wellness and hospitality company she established in 2020 after more than a decade of experience in customer service and client-facing roles. Her professional background includes positions in hospitality, including serving at Old Country Buffet and Golden Corral, as well as working as an intake specialist and in other customer service positions conducted both in person and over the phone. These experiences helped shape her understanding of the importance of service, human connection, and creating environments where people feel valued and supported.

As an entrepreneur, Bolden is dedicated to supporting individuals who consistently pour their time and energy into others. Through Lynnmonade, she develops wellness-focused hospitality experiences that allow professionals, volunteers, event teams, performers, and community members to pause, recharge, and feel replenished rather than depleted. Her commitment to the business is reflected in her demanding schedule, which often begins as early as 3 or 4 a.m. with website management and responding to emails, followed by exercise, preparing for her children, meetings, client calls, networking opportunities, and proposal development. Her entrepreneurial journey demonstrates discipline, resilience, and a strong commitment to building a meaningful and sustainable business.

Bolden is guided by the core values of knowledge, solution-oriented thinking, legacy, and empowerment. She believes in continuously learning, identifying practical solutions, creating a lasting impact, and empowering others to reach their potential. To maintain a positive and focused mindset, she draws inspiration from thought leaders and motivational voices including Lisa Nichols, E.T. the Hip Hop Preacher, Les Brown, and Napoleon Hill. Through her work and leadership, Bolden strives to create a legacy centered on service, wellness, empowerment, and helping hardworking individuals find the opportunity to pause, replenish, and lead.

Ten minutes with Ashley

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a commitment to continuous learning, persistence, and consistently going above and beyond expectations. I believe in staying informed, approaching challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and remaining determined even when the path forward is difficult. I also place great importance on making others feel valued, which has shaped my customer-centered approach to both business and relationships. I draw inspiration from motivational leaders such as Lisa Nichols and Les Brown, whose messages encourage me to remain focused and resilient. Ultimately, my core values of knowledge, empowerment, legacy, and finding meaningful solutions continue to guide my decisions and drive my success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to never stop learning, remain persistent, and consistently go above and beyond expectations. I believe that continuous growth and a willingness to gain knowledge are essential to long-term success, especially when navigating challenges or unfamiliar situations. I have also learned the importance of perseverance and refusing to give up when obstacles arise. Most importantly, I strive to make others feel valued by prioritizing people, listening to their needs, and delivering service that goes beyond what is expected.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is to remember that knowledge is power, so never stop learning and growing. There is also tremendous power in proximity, so make the effort to show up, build relationships, and put yourself in rooms where you can learn and grow, regardless of the challenges or circumstances you may face. Do not settle for being average; look for every opportunity to go above and beyond and exceed expectations. Most importantly, remember that people may not always remember exactly what you said or did, but they will remember how you made them feel. Lead with authenticity, kindness, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field is creating opportunities for people to enter new industries and prove what they are capable of, even when they may not yet have a traditional track record. Sometimes, all someone needs is for an organization or leader to take a chance on them and give them the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, commitment, and potential. I believe creating pathways for people to gain that first opportunity can lead to meaningful growth, innovation, and greater diversity across the industry.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are knowledge, a solution-based mindset, legacy, and empowerment. I believe continuous learning is essential for personal and professional growth, while being solution-oriented helps me approach challenges with purpose and identify meaningful ways forward. Legacy is important to me because I want my work to create a lasting, positive impact, while empowerment motivates me to encourage others, help them recognize their potential, and create opportunities for them to succeed.
