Her Story

About Ashley

My professional trajectory is defined by a commitment to service and an innate ability to build structure in high-pressure environments. I began my career in operational management while balancing full-time education, followed by eight years in educational leadership. This period was foundational, honing my ability to manage complex logistics and lead with empathy.

In a pivotal moment during my second pregnancy, I realized a need to pivot—to find a career that allowed me to channel my professional intensity into a corporate environment while remaining the present, dedicated mother my children deserve. I transitioned into the corporate sector as a specialist and quickly advanced into a key role architecting internal oversight programs. Faced with 'blank canvas' challenges, I co-engineered inaugural quality frameworks from the ground up, transforming raw data into standardized logic. Today, I specialize in operational integrity and cross-functional alignment. My relentless drive for mastery is evidenced by my #1 ranking out of 15,000+ employees on our global development platform for the month of April. I am now leveraging this 'Detective and Builder' mindset to pivot into Strategic Account Management, delivering high-impact, customer-centric results.

Ten minutes with Ashley

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success is a direct result of a collaborative ecosystem and a steadfast commitment to personal and professional integrity. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work under exceptional mentors whose support allowed me to navigate diverse departments and cultivate a deep, cross-functional perspective. However, my greatest inspiration comes from my children; they push me to evolve every day, driving me to be my best in every facet of life. I attribute my achievements to the synergy between a 'Detective Mindset'—investigating the root cause behind the data—and a dedication to being a 'Bridge' between complex problems and scalable solutions. Rather than focusing solely on identifying gaps, I architect the frameworks that drive long-term accuracy. By staying curious and aligning my efforts with larger organizational goals, I turn operational challenges into opportunities for innovation and growth.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I ever received was: 'Don’t just report the data; help write the story.' Early in my career, I thought my job was just to deliver data and check boxes. This advice shifted my perspective. It taught me that as an expert in my field, I have a responsibility to use my insights to drive change. It’s the difference between telling someone they have a deduction and providing them with the SOPs to prevent it. It’s about moving from a reactive specialist to a proactive partner.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is to investigate the gaps and build your own roadmap. Innovation starts when you stop waiting for a framework and start creating one. Above all, treat Emotional Intelligence as a core technical skill. The empathy you bring to a team during a transition is just as valuable as the logic you bring to a spreadsheet.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in Quality Audit right now is the velocity of change. Even with efficient monthly reporting, regulatory mandates and technical requirements can shift mid-cycle, creating a reactive environment. The goal is to move beyond 'periodic' oversight and close the gap between the data shift and the team's response.

This presents a massive opportunity for Operational Intelligence. By architecting real-time feedback loops and 'always-on' resource libraries, we move the audit role from simply identifying errors to actively preventing them. The future of this field is about providing the immediate, strategic insights that allow Account Managers to deliver proactive, value-driven results to their clients.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In both my work and personal life, I am guided by a steadfast commitment to integrity; I believe that trust is built through consistency and that my actions must always reflect my word. I deeply value curiosity—the 'Detective' in me—which drives me to look beyond surface-level data to uncover the root cause and the 'why.' Equally important is service; whether I am architecting complex operational frameworks or coordinating community logistics, my goal is to build structured, reliable environments that empower those around me to succeed.
