Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of faith, disciplined execution, and mentors who challenged me to lead with excellence. I’m grateful for my mother’s strength and wisdom, the guidance of God, and mentors like Nnamdi E. (Director at Microsoft) who modeled what it looks like to build with integrity, think strategically, and stay committed to impact even when the path is difficult.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Let your work speak before your title does.” I was taught to focus on building real skill, delivering measurable results, and staying consistent—because credibility is earned through outcomes and character, not branding. That mindset has shaped how I lead teams, mentor students, and build programs that actually move the needle.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Care about mastery more than applause. Learn the fundamentals, ask questions without shrinking, and build a portfolio that proves your ability to solve problems. But most importantly—lead with empathy and integrity. The most powerful women I know aren’t chasing status; they’re creating value, opening doors for others, and staying consistent when no one is watching.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is that many people are expected to be “data-driven” without being truly data-literate—so organizations invest in tools but not in training, governance, or clear definitions of success. The opportunity is enormous: leaders who can connect analytics to real business decisions, and educators who can make data skills accessible to everyday learners, will shape the next decade. I’m especially focused on bridging that gap—turning data into clarity for executives and into mobility for students.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, service, and excellence. I value doing the right thing even when it’s costly, building with purpose rather than ego, and treating people with dignity. I also believe in stewardship—using skills, influence, and resources responsibly—so that the work we do creates real opportunity and lasting impact.
