Ashley DePiano: Carve your own path and just do what feels right to you, so you have an intuition and you know what's right, and you know what should be, you, you know what you should be doing.
What does being an Influential Woman mean to you?
Ashley DePiano: To me, being an influential woman means sharing your story with other women that may not know what to do with their lives, or maybe they're just getting into their career and they're just not really sure where to go or how to begin. So I think seeing someone that has done the grind and has gone through the trials and tribulations, um, And setting that example for other women, that is what it means to me. And I feel like I want to be especially influential toward people that feel like they're in male dominated industries. Women can do it and you can be successful at it. You just have to give it your all, and that's what I hope to show to people.
What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?
Ashley DePiano: The one piece of advice I would give to younger women chasing their dreams, I know it's going to sound a little bit cliche, but do not let anyone derail you. And there will be a lot of people, and negative, um, you know, there'll be a lot of negative talk in your ear from people that have never done it before and they just really don't know what's involved with it. So don't listen to the naysayers. Carve your own path and just do what feels right to you, so you have an intuition and you know what's right, and you know what should be, you, you know what you should be doing. So just do that and don't listen to the noise cause there's so much noise out there. Just go for your dream. Have a goal in mind and every single day, take one step closer to your dream and you'll eventually get there.

Ashley began her professional journey in speech-language pathology, earning a Master of Science from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Science from The College of Saint Rose. While her academic background was rooted in healthcare, Ashley discovered her passion for digital solutions and business automation. She started by selling leads to local contractors and quickly recognized the systemic inefficiencies that caused opportunities to be lost. This insight inspired her to create standardized marketing and operational processes, culminating in the launch of Connectid, which now empowers businesses to optimize their systems, increase revenue, and regain control over their operations.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Ashley is deeply committed to her family and personal growth. She enjoys gardening, making homemade soaps, reading—particularly business and financial literature—and traveling, with Spain, Switzerland, and Italy among her favorite destinations. Ashley is also an engaged mother to two daughters and a bonus daughter, nurturing curiosity and creativity in her family while balancing a dynamic entrepreneurial career. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ability to identify systemic problems and develop innovative solutions that create tangible results. My willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously evolve in response to the needs of businesses has been key to my growth and the success of my clients.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received was to find a problem someone has and solve it for them. If you're a problem solver, you'll always be needed.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women entering this industry to be proactive and network—talk to people, ask questions, and learn from their experiences. Go for the opportunities you want, ignore the noise, and always believe in yourself and your abilities.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity in my field is leveraging AI and automation to help businesses streamline operations, improve client experiences, and maximize their growth potential. The challenge lies in convincing businesses to embrace technology and implement systems that replace inefficiencies without disrupting their existing operations.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, innovation, and a commitment to helping others succeed are the values that guide both my professional and personal life. I strive to create solutions that empower businesses and support my family, while continuously learning and evolving as a leader and entrepreneur.
