Her Story

About Ashley

Ashley Harada is a dynamic entrepreneur and business owner dedicated to building successful ventures while making a meaningful impact in her community. Based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, she is the owner of Resilient Tattoo & Piercing, Legacy Home Improvement, and Resilient Legacy Investments. After completing her professional piercing apprenticeship and earning her licensure, she opened Resilient Tattoo & Piercing in 2025, creating a welcoming space that reflects her commitment to artistry, resilience, and personal transformation. She has since expanded her entrepreneurial portfolio by launching a home improvement company and investing in residential real estate, where she renovates and manages long-term rental and short-term vacation properties.

Before becoming a business owner, Harada built a diverse professional background that included five years as a paralegal, as well as roles in healthcare administration and early childhood education. These experiences strengthened her organizational, communication, and leadership skills, providing a solid foundation for her entrepreneurial success. An active member of both the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau, she continues to grow businesses rooted in quality service, integrity, and long-term value. Her vision extends beyond financial success to creating opportunities that strengthen both individuals and the community.

Harada attributes her success to her unwavering faith, determination, and desire to build generational wealth for her three children. She believes in the power of meaningful relationships, continuous networking, and taking intentional action to create opportunities. Passionate about serving others, she regularly gives back through initiatives such as offering free sobriety date tattoos during National Recovery Month, supporting Toys for Tots, and providing Thanksgiving meals for families in need. Looking ahead, she plans to establish a sober living home in Cheyenne that will provide individuals in recovery with safe housing, meaningful employment through her home improvement company, and the support needed to build a brighter future.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Ashley

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think it's that I do it for my kids. We have a lot of faith. Whatever good you put out into the universe good will come back to you. You have to manifest your destiny. I've wanted to get into real estate and home improvement my whole life. Show the kids that they can do anything that they want.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in your abilities, trust your instincts, and don't wait until you feel completely ready to pursue new opportunities. Growth often happens outside of your comfort zone, and some of the most rewarding experiences come from taking calculated risks. Stay curious, continue learning, and seek out mentors who will challenge and inspire you. Don't let setbacks discourage you—they are often the experiences that build resilience, confidence, and wisdom. Be authentic, remain adaptable, and never underestimate the value of building strong relationships and supporting those around you. Most importantly, define success by your own values and purpose rather than by someone else's expectations.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The greatest opportunities today lie in embracing innovation, adapting to change, and continually developing new skills. Technology and digital transformation are creating possibilities across every industry, making lifelong learning more important than ever. There is also tremendous opportunity in building meaningful professional networks, sharing your expertise, mentoring future leaders, and collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Organizations increasingly recognize the value of inclusive leadership and diverse perspectives, creating new pathways for women to lead, influence decision-making, and drive meaningful change. By remaining open to new ideas, investing in personal growth, and lifting others along the way, individuals can expand both their influence and their impact.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values I hold most important are integrity, authenticity, empathy, professionalism, collaboration, and empowering others. I believe trust is earned through honesty, consistency, and accountability, and those principles guide every decision I make. Whether in my career or personal life, I strive to treat people with respect, listen with empathy, and create an environment where others feel valued and supported. I also believe in giving back by mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and encouraging people to recognize their own potential. Success is most meaningful when it creates opportunities for others to grow and succeed as well.
