Her Interview

Ten minutes with Ashley

01What do you attribute your success to?

I've just always felt like there's some bigger calling that I've been striving for, not necessarily knowing exactly what it is. It's just internally, I've always felt like there's something bigger that I could do or be a part of. I was also a Beachbody coach for about 5 years and one of the women on my team won the Each Body Challenge.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Figure out what you love to do and then backtrack as to how you can make a living from there. Because things that you don't love do not last in the long run. And be experimental. Try things because you never know what's gonna be a fit.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

With the graphics, because I've been out of the loop for my children, there's been a lot of changes especially with AI coming in and a lot of updates within the software. It's been difficult to get my foot back in the door anywhere, especially because I need it to be remote with flexible hours.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Creative flexibility is definitely a big one. I am ADHD and my creativity needs the boundaries are tough so I need the flexible thinking and creative freedom to pick and choose as I need to. I get a lot of that with my fitness classes because I get to choose songs and what we're doing for the day. Connecting with others is a big piece too.
