Ashley Kriley is a dedicated Slot Project Manager at Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison, where she has built a successful career in the gaming industry. With over a decade of experience, Ashley has progressed through a variety of roles—from floor attendant to Slot Technician II and III, then office manager, before assuming her current position. Her journey reflects a strong work ethic, deep industry knowledge, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of gaming operations. Throughout her career, Ashley has focused on optimizing slot operations, managing projects, and fostering a team-oriented environment. She is known for her hands-on approach, often collaborating directly with technicians and staff to ensure smooth implementation of new machines and technology. Her expertise also extends to operations management, training programs, and customer service, making her a valued leader in the organization. Ashley is currently going to school for her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Southern New Hampshire University and a certificate in Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage from Apollo College. Her educational background, combined with her extensive practical experience, equips her to approach challenges with both analytical insight and operational efficiency. Outside of work, she enjoys engaging with her professional network and staying connected to industry innovations, as well as spending time with her family.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the dedication and hard work I’ve invested in my career. I began in customer service and gradually transitioned into the gaming industry, where I was able to demonstrate my skills and leadership abilities. Through persistence and a commitment to growth, I have advanced to my current role as a Slot Project Manager, and I continue to strive toward achieving my professional goals.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. This guidance has encouraged me to pursue opportunities with confidence, embrace challenges, and continually push myself to grow both personally and professionally.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
When I started in this industry, I was often the only woman in the room. Today, I’m proud to lead a team of talented women. My advice to young women entering this field is to believe in your abilities, embrace your unique perspective, and never be afraid to take on leadership roles. Surround yourself with supportive mentors, advocate for yourself, and remember that your voice and contributions are valuable.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I face in my field is balancing multiple responsibilities—working full-time, pursuing my education, and caring for my three children. At the same time, this challenge presents an opportunity to develop strong time management, resilience, and multitasking skills, all of which have strengthened my ability to excel both professionally and personally.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are dedication, balance, and accountability. I strive to perform at my best on the job while also being fully present for my three children—including my three-year-old twins and my nine-year-old. At the same time, I am pursuing my Bachelor’s in Business and Project Management, which reflects my commitment to growth and continuous learning. Maintaining this balance requires focus, organization, and a strong sense of responsibility, and these values guide me in everything I do.
