Ashley Mendoza

Ashley Mendoza serves as an independent regulatory consultant, assisting physicians with high-level regulatory situations in clinical research and regenerative medicine. She entered the field in 2015 as a research assistant during the height of COVID and progressed rapidly through the ranks while balancing full-time studies and employment. After a mass layoff in 2024, she helped establish a research organization before shifting focus to regenerative medicine and ultimately launching her own consulting practice six months ago. In this role, she collaborates with CEOs, C-suite executives, and attorneys to navigate FDA regulations and risk management decisions for private practices expanding into new areas of medicine. Mendoza holds an associate's degree from a community college in Wilmington, North Carolina, and a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She attributes her success to an obsession with her work, combined with strong problem-solving skills and curiosity, which have allowed her to evolve efficiently in her career. She advises young women entering the industry to master niche skills and remain open to pivoting as plans change.
