Her Story

About Ashley

Ashley Moffitt is an accomplished integrated marketing leader serving as Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing at Articulate, a B2B SaaS platform focused on creating engaging training content. With nearly four years on Articulate’s integrated marketing team, she has advanced from Marketing Manager to Senior Manager while leading multi-channel campaigns, product launches, cross-functional initiatives, and international events, including the Articuland experience in locations such as Orlando and London. She specializes in demand generation, pipeline strategy, go-to-market planning, campaign development, and creating integrated marketing programs that connect business objectives with meaningful customer experiences.

Prior to joining Articulate, Ashley spent five years at a digital marketing agency, progressing from Project Manager to Director of Project Management, where she oversaw a team of approximately 20 professionals. This experience gave her broad exposure to clients and projects across industries including apparel, healthcare, and technology while strengthening her expertise in project leadership, digital marketing, client relationships, SEO, and cross-functional collaboration. Ashley earned her degree from Rutgers Business School in New Brunswick, where she double-majored in Marketing and Psychology after initially entering college undecided. Inspired in part by her mother’s background in marketing and sales, she discovered a passion for understanding both consumer behavior and effective marketing strategy. She has continued to invest in professional development through credentials including a mentor certification from Seton Hall University, the High-Potential Women Leaders Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and training to serve as a board advisory member.

Ashley attributes much of her success to the resilience and example of her mother, an immigrant from France who taught her to approach challenges as opportunities for growth and to maintain a strong growth mindset. She places a high value on transparency, open communication, continuous learning, and meaningful collaboration in both her professional and personal life. As a member of MKTG Women, she is committed to supporting and empowering women in the marketing profession and encourages young women entering the field to remain open to feedback, embrace challenges, and continually develop their skills. Looking ahead, Ashley views the responsible integration of artificial intelligence—with transparency and authenticity—as one of the most important challenges and opportunities facing B2B SaaS marketing.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Ashley

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute much of my success to the example set by my mother, who is originally from France. She taught me through her actions that obstacles should not hold me back, but rather be viewed as challenges and opportunities to grow. Her resilience, determination, and ability to keep moving forward have shaped my mindset and inspired me to persevere, stay positive, and continue striving toward my goals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to embrace challenges rather than allow them to discourage me. I have learned to view obstacles as opportunities to grow, learn, and become stronger. Staying resilient, continuing to move forward, and trusting in my abilities have been essential to my professional growth and success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to never give up and to embrace a growth mindset. Stay open-minded, remain curious, and be willing to learn from every experience, including challenges and setbacks. Believe in your abilities, seek opportunities to grow, and remember that persistence and curiosity can open doors throughout your career.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now is the rapid growth of artificial intelligence. I believe it is important to find meaningful ways to leverage AI to improve efficiency, innovation, and productivity while remaining transparent about how it is being used. Striking the right balance between embracing new technology and maintaining trust, authenticity, and accountability will be essential moving forward.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are transparency and open communication. I believe that being honest, sharing information openly, and communicating clearly can make difficult situations better and help build trust. I strive to approach every interaction with honesty and openness, knowing that strong communication creates better understanding and stronger relationships.
