I attribute my success to my kids, because they were always watching me.

The biggest challenge and opportunity for me is making sure that the ones I am leading have more opportunities and that their growth is so successful that they could even surpass my position at another company or beyond. I want to be sure I'm supporting them. It is a challenge because some don't want to be taught, but it's not really a challenge because it also becomes rewarding. Making sure everyone on my team is growing and being supported to the best of their ability is what I focus on.

My values change every year, but right now, my moral is staying literally true to yourself. I'm not trying to be cliche, but when you try to mold into a way that society thinks you should be, it doesn't work. It's a journey of learning who you are. I learned a very hard lesson until last year about being selfish in the right ways. I feel rejuvenated and renewed. I don't know who I am yet, I'm learning who I am, and it's fun. I can be stupid and quirky, and I can live in leopard print and a pink blanket at the same time. Staying true to yourself but still growing and evolving is what matters. I never believed in it until I had to do it. As I started gaining more confidence and taking care of myself, that's when opportunities arise. That's when you feel good, and someone's always watching you in the company, seeing your potential and what you can offer, and it really has paid off.
