About Ashley
Ashley Palmer serves in the tribal administration and accounting department for the Suboba Band of Luiseno Indians in San Jacinto, California. She began her career three years ago at Soboba Casino Resort in the hotel department, advancing to the front desk and then to the marketing department as guest relations coordinator, where she handled incoming complaints and oversaw social media, Google, and Yelp platforms. She later became marketing executive admin before her recent promotion to the tribal side. In her current role, Palmer oversees accountants, works closely with the financial controller on grants and accounts payable for entities including Noli School, Fire Department, Public Works, and DPS, while assisting with community events such as the Soboba Student Awards and the Suboba Foundation charity golf tournament. She earned her communications education at San Bernardino Valley College and holds a tribal administration certification obtained through Falmouth. Palmer was recognized as Employee of the Quarter in 2024 and contributes to local food drives and toy drives, the San Bernardino School District, and the Perris Union High School District.
