Her Story

About Ashley

Ashley Pritchard owns and operates Project YOU Coaching, LLC, which she founded nearly two years ago after a career in banking that ended due to restructuring. Motivated by her own six-and-a-half-year weight loss and health journey that began with Beachbody workouts, she obtained NASM certifications in personal training and nutrition coaching, along with additional certifications from the same organization. She offers personalized training and nutrition coaching to clients across various locations, conducting sessions either in person from her living room setup or virtually via Zoom, with daily client check-ins on progress and challenges. Pritchard attributes her success to determination rather than fleeting motivation, emphasizing a collaborative approach to help clients avoid wasting resources and achieve their goals together.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Ashley

01What do you attribute your success to?

Determination. Motivation comes and goes. It's really the determination to want to succeed. A lot of what I do is because I want to see others successful. I don't want to see them wasting their money. If my client is facing a challenge, we face that challenge together.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Stop selling yourself short, because I have a tendency to underplay any kind of skills that I have. Feel more confident in what you can bring to the table.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in yourself.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Everybody can turn to AI and get for free. You can go on YouTube and get workouts for free. And then also the economy. A lot of people struggling, and they see a price tag, and they're like, I can't afford that, and so then they turn around, and they go to YouTube, and all of the influencers that are online. Most of it is really relative to the client that's looking at all these different influencers, but they think that it's relative to themselves. There's so much complication information on what's good for you, and what's healthy.
