About Ashley
Ashley Ragland currently serves as a product manager at UPS, leading the technology software for customer support and managing a team of eight. With a decade of experience in the tech industry, her career path includes roles at Houston Methodist in biomedical engineering, Georgia Tech as a corporate relations manager, and Amazon in operations technology and cloud services. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in communications from the University of Kentucky, completed a master's at the University of Houston, and began but paused a PhD in international development at Georgia Tech. Ashley holds certifications in Lean Fundamentals and as an AWS Cloud Developer. She has received Innovation Awards at UPS and founded a startup that provides an AI-powered business management solution for female-run med spas in Atlanta, helping them scale operations and protect margins. Her main area of expertise is operational technology, and she remains involved with her church in East Point, Georgia.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Try it all. Don't be afraid to step up into the unknown. Don't be afraid to be the only female in the group. Don't be afraid to say you don't know something. Do not be afraid to step into something new. The unknown is where you have the most growth.
