Her Story

About Ashley

I have been working in finance for over a decade. What drew me to this field is that I like certainty - I know that 1 plus 1 will always equal 2, as opposed to interpretation being subjective. In my work, I like being at the intersection of strategy and execution. Most of the time, I find myself being conflicted, trying to find the capacity to strategize and be a visionary of faith, while also being a part of the team that is on the ground doing the work. One of my most notable professional achievements is managing the financial oversight of a $20 million budget with minimal disallowed costs over a multi-year period. Outside of work, I have interests in weightlifting and photography. A few years ago, I was featured in the Nashville Art Support for some photography that I have done. I have a passion for capturing ordinary people doing ordinary things - I find that it is extraordinary being able to capture people in their authentic moments.
