Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute much of my success to adaptability, curiosity, and a genuine ability to connect with people. My career began in education, but an unexpected opportunity in payroll opened the door to sales — and with it, a passion for solving complex challenges and building meaningful, lasting relationships. Over time, I discovered that the most impactful sales professionals aren’t just persuasive — they’re great listeners, problem-solvers, and connectors of insight and opportunity. As a woman in sales, I’ve found that empathy, intuition, and the ability to truly understand people are what transform a good conversation into a trusted partnership

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to stay committed to the power of mindset and manifestation — to believe that what you focus on, you attract. I’ve also found lasting inspiration in the works of Dale Carnegie, whose timeless lessons on genuine connection, effective communication, and leading with empathy have deeply influenced my approach to business. These principles serve as my compass, guiding how I build relationships, empower teams, and connect with clients on a level that goes far beyond the transaction

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: lead with empathy, listen with intention, and care deeply. Knowledge matters — but people won’t remember what you know until they know how much you care. The ability to truly listen, understand, and respond to the needs of others is what builds trust, lasting relationships, and genuine success. When you lead with heart, results naturally follow

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Leadership and sales share the same core challenge — balancing empathy with accountability. Great leaders don’t just drive numbers; they inspire trust, communicate with clarity, and create environments where people feel valued and motivated to perform. True success comes from leading through change with integrity, developing others, and building relationships rooted in care, consistency, and connection.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me — both professionally and personally — are honesty, authenticity, and integrity. I believe in owning your thoughts and actions with courage and leading with heart in every situation. I’m also deeply grounded in family, partnership, and legacy. As a mother of four daughters, a son in heaven, and a devoted wife, I strive every day to honor my son’s memory, create strong opportunities for my children, and build a life rooted in compassion, resilience, and purpose. These values shape how I lead, mentor, and connect with others — serving as the foundation of everything I do in both my career and my life
